World Guitar Day was established in 2021 on the initiative of guitarist – composer – professor Yorgos Foudoulis, under the auspices of dozens of international organizations of high prestige and great scope.

World Guitar Day has been announced in the UN member states and will be celebrated worldwide every year on October 18, with the first official celebration expected on Monday, October 18, 2021.

Each Institution can celebrate World Guitar Day in its own way and can optionally send its schedule to the Coordination Team in a timely manner, to be featured in the overall program of World Guitar Day. (Alternatively the festive event period may include more days, eg from 15 to 20 October).

Those Organizations or persons wishing to receive official representation and coordinate with the central program of events, should contact the World Guitar Day Central Coordination Office for information and support.

We invite any interested organization or person to become a partner of World Guitar Day anywhere in the world.

I was so lucky to meet a modern patriot, a contemporary hero!

My friend J.P. is investing huge capitals, earned from his hard work in Australia, to Hellenic soil. To my eyes he is a hero for his patriotism in rough times.

An official dinner with ancient Greek gastronomy, by the World Institute of Hellenic Culture, in honor of Mr. John Pantazopoulos, the Australian Minister of Tourism, the Minister of Public Works, the Minister of Labor, the Minister of Multiculturalism, the MP of Victoria and the President of the Greek Parliamentarians.

Mr. John Pantazopoulos and his wife are hosted by the Pelion Development Institute and President Stergios Papaioannou, a collaborating institution of the Elxefsis Institute.

The Institute’s ancient Greek gastronomy sector undertook the creation of an ancient Greek dinner in honor of the outstanding Greek politician who excels in Australia, as well as the invited friends and associates of the two institutions.

An ancient Greek dinner was created by the Institute’s Chef’s at the restaurant Geusoktoras in Portaria, Pelion, with the contribution of the award-winning chef and an excellent partner of the Antonios Tsolakoudis Institute, owner of Geusoktoras and recently awarded restaurant, the first prize of: TOP 10 Greek and Regional Cuisine Restaurants.

It was a great honor for Hellenic Spirit to meet John Pantazopoulos, the opportunity to discuss future collaborations, as well as our acquaintance with the President of Elxefsis Kyriakos Kytoudis and the presence of the President of the Pelion Development Institute and Stergios Papaioannou as well as the friends and partners who honored the evening.

HellenicSpirit.org will be attending the celebration of the 60th anniversary between Greece and Belgium of immigrants acceptance agreement. While serving rising demand for business requests between Greece and Belgium Mr Mitsakis had a series of meetings in Belgium with key stakeholders of the community in his last trip a few days ago. Further more meetings will follow the week after the celebration.

H Hellenic Spirit υποστηρίζει την προσπάθεια του αθλητή Χρόνη Χλίτσιου να σπάσει το παγκόμσιο ρεκόρ.

Η κατάδυση με σκανταλόπετρα θα πραγματοποιηθεί στη θαλάσσια περιοχή «πάρκο της Αλοννήσου», όπου το βάθος φτάνει τα -150μ. Ο αθλητής θα φοράει ένα ολόσωμο μαγιό τύπου shark, έχοντας τυπωμένα επάνω τoυ τα λογότυπα των μεγάλων χορηγών. Η κάθοδος θα γίνει με τον παραδοσιακό τρόπο των σφουγγαράδων έχοντας σαν βοήθημα το σκαντάλι (ένα λαξεμένο κομμάτι μάρμαρο) δεμένο με ένα σχοινί μήκους αντίστοιχο με το μήκος που χρειάζεται προκειμένου να πραγματοποιηθεί η κατάδυση.

Τελευταίο μέρος του εξοπλισμού, είναι το ειδικό μανταλάκι που κλείνει τη μύτη για να γίνουν οι απαραίτητες εξισώσεις κατά τη διάρκεια της κατάδυσης. Η κατάδυση θα γίνει από την Αργώ!

Σε όλη την διάρκεια της κατάδυσης κάθε 10 μέτρα θα υπάρχουν δύτες ασφαλείας και cameramen οι οποίοι θα έχουν αναλάβει τη βιντεοσκόπηση της προσπάθειας με κάθε λεπτομέρεια.

Μια εβδομάδα πριν την κατάδυση με ειδική άδεια του Δήμου Βόλου και του Οργανισμού Λιμένος Βόλου θα υπάρχει στην παραλία του Βόλου περίπτερο όπου θα ενημερώνεται το κοινό για το τι πρόκειται να συμβεί. Ο κόσμος θα παρακολουθεί σε γιγαντοοθόνες στιγμές από την προετοιμασία και τις προπονήσεις του αθλητή καθώς και από προηγούμενες προσπάθειες.

Τρία κρουαζιερόπλοια (το Ελισάβετ 1, το Ελισάβετ 2 και το Σοφία Star) θα είναι ναυλωμένα προκειμένου να μεταφέρουν τουλάχιστον 1000 άτομα στο σημείο της κατάδυσης, προκειμένου να παρακολουθήσουν από κοντά το συγκεκριμένο γεγονός. Τα κρουαζιερόπλοια θα καταπλεύσουν στο λιμάνι του Βόλου από το βράδυ της προηγούμενης μέρας, Τρία κρουαζιερόπλοια (το Ελισάβετ 1, το Ελισάβετ 2 και το Σοφία Star) θα είναι ναυλωμένα προκειμένου να μεταφέρουν περίπου 1000 άτομα στο σημείο της κατάδυσης να παρακολουθήσουν από κοντά το συγκεκριμένο γεγονός.
